Solicitor Michael A. Leipold is the founder of the now internationally operational solicitor’s chambers, Leipold & Coll. Even during his basic legal training he specialised particularly in banking and money market law, tax and competition law.

His extensive legal and business experience was acquired during his two-year engagement as a spokesman for the German Association for the Protection of Bond Holders (DSW) in Munich, and worked, amongst others, with law firms, Oppenhoff & Rädler, ARCON, von Bötticher Hasse Lohmann, and as Managing Partner with B&L Solicitors.


Today, as a company owner himself, Michael A. Leipold can draw on his practical experience with international business practices to provide advice to clients on a diversity of fields in banking and stock exchange law, tax and competition law. His contact with renowned legal firms internationally enables ml Solicitors to support their clients extensively, far beyond the borders of their country, and to advise them in respect of current national legislation.

Solicitor Michael A. Leipold is a member of the International Bar Association (IBA), the German Solicitors Association (DAV), the Banking and Stock Market Law Working Group, and the Tax Law Working Group.

Michael A. Leipold is a registered solicitor in Germany and Austria, and is responsible for the legal chambers in Vienna and Zurich. Within the framework of his activities he served in an advisory capacity with the construction of international property and media funds.
Moreover he then facilitated with listings to the Frankfurt Stock Exchange in the different market segments and led through numerous reorganisations with various banks. His considerable experience, drawn from his time as spokesman for the German Protection Association for Bond Holders (DAW), has enabled him to stand successfully as the voting rights proxy for renowned investment funds, as well as in numerous investor protection proceedings.
